MSC in the Community
Building up our city in every sense

We’re proud to be more than just a key player in the city's construction and development sector. We believe in building up our community just as much as we do the structures that shape it. That’s why we actively support local charitable causes, including air ambulance services, sports clubs, and young talent in the world of sports.

We understand that true growth isn’t just about physical structures, but about creating a foundation for the future. By funding local initiatives, we’re helping to elevate the grassroots that keep our city thriving—whether it’s supporting emergency services, nurturing young athletes, or empowering the next generation of leaders in sport.

We believe in reinvesting in the city that has supported us, because a strong community builds a stronger city.

Liverpool Century Cycling Club.jpg

Liverpool Century Cycling Club

This club is one of the oldest cycling clubs in the UK. It did not however have a section for kids so in 2015 when asked if we would get involved, we were happy to do so.

In partnership with one of our

clients, Integral, we were instrumental in getting the athletes section off the ground.

The club went everywhere around the UK, competing in local, national and international events winning even on occasions in what is an extremely tough and competitive sport.

We are proud to be involved and to have helped kids in the area get switched on to this great participation and competitive sport, one with a very rich local tradition.

He had wrestled all of his life and has in the last year come through the MMA amateur ranks.

He fought professionally in April 2022 at the Olympia in Liverpool in a televised bout for his first fight and won with a first round stoppage.

Barney & Echo
Part of The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain

Merseyside Scaffolding Company is proud to have supported Barney & Echo, an initiative by The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain, which provides educational resources to schools across the UK. As part of this partnership, we helped fund the distribution of the children’s book Caught in the Web to two local primary schools.

Caught in the Web is a fun and engaging educational resource designed to help safeguard children online. Aimed at primary school pupils, the book covers important topics such as cyberbullying, online gaming, social media safety, and personal security. Through the story of Barney, Echo, and their friends – with guidance from Tom Stoat the Woodland Wizard – children learn how to make safe and responsible choices in the digital world.

Endorsed by the UK Council for Child Internet Safety and The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, the book includes interactive activities to reinforce key learning objectives. We are proud to support initiatives like this, which make a meaningful impact on the well-being and education of children in our community.

Team WPA - Riding to Paris to raise £22,637 for CureLeukaemia

We were proud to support Daniel Mitchell, a member of Team WPA, as he took on an incredible challenge: cycling from the UK to Paris over 4 days, covering 310 miles in just 20 hours and 40 minutes of riding. His personal effort helped raise an impressive £1,685.00, contributing to Team WPA’s total of £22,637.00 — and an outstanding £426,000.00 raised overall for Cure Leukaemia.

Our support was part of a shared commitment to something much bigger than ourselves. At Merseyside Scaffolding Company, we believe in helping to build more than just structures — we build communities. Supporting local people like Daniel, and causes like Cure Leukaemia, reminds us that the strength we show in business should also be reflected in compassion and solidarity.

We physically build up the world through construction — but we also believe in building people up, especially those who are facing the toughest fights of their lives. Supporting this ride was our way of helping to make a difference, one mile and one life at a time.
